It’s not every day you come across a beer bus
We have a couple options, so it depends on your selection.
All-Inclusive Tours are priced per person and come with a dedicated driver/ beer guide, comfortable and fun transportation in our 14-passenger bus which is stocked with bottled water and local snacks. We visit three breweries, and your beer is included at each stop – 12 pours totaling 48 oz.
For our Hourly Rental offering, we are basically your oversized Beer Bus Limo for the day or night. Go wherever you’d like as long as you’d like, brewery or not. We do provide bottled water and light snacks, along with a friendly local guide to drive ya around and keep the good times rollin’. You’ll be buying your own drinks wherever you go.
$89/person for our All-Inclusive Tour. With this option, you are paying per person, not by the hour.
$149/hour for the Hourly Rental. With this option, you are paying per hour, not per person.
For private bookings, you can meet us at Greenman Brewery in the heart of South Slope in Downtown Asheville or we offer complementary pick up and drop off within 3 miles of Greenman. Additional fee for pickup and drop off outside of that radius.
Our public tours are a set time and route, with us offering several different routes depending on the day.
For private tours, you may go on one of our set routes or make suggestions based on our partners. Keep in mind that we partnered with breweries that make logisitical sense, aren’t all clustered downtown so we can take advantage of the bus, have the space and desire to host our groups and a variety of other factors.
If you go with the Hourly Rental option, the sky is the limit. Go to any brewery your heart desires as we are essential just your brewery Uber.
Our standard all-inclusive public and private tours visit three breweries and last about 3 hours. However, there is the option to add time and/or extra locations to any private tour.
Yes. For our All-Inclusive brewery tours, you may drink beer that is purchased along the way at our stops. No alcohol outside of that is allowed, ESPECIALLY liquor, c’mon now. This prevents Uncle Henry from sneaking on Fireball and supprts our brewery partners – 2 birds, 1 stone kinda thing.
For our Hourly Rental option or non-brewery tour related transportation, we allow outside alcohol on board as we are essentially just your transportation.
Gratuity for your tour guide is not included, but is always much appreciated if you feel they provide a great experience. Please feel free to drop them some cash or send ’em a Venmo so they don’t have to drink Natty’s.
Gratuity for brewery staff is included in your price and we make sure to take care of them.
Bottled water will be provided in the vehicle, with every brewery also offering water. We include local, light snacks, as well. Asheville Pretzel Co is one of our partners, to give you an idea. This may take off the edge, but we certainly suggest you eat prior to the outing. Many breweries will have food trucks on-site, so you should have opportunities to fill up along the way.
Greenman Brewery, located in the heart of the South Slope district of Downtown Asheville is our standard meeting location for all bookings.
However, for private bookings, you may meet us at Greenman or we offer complimentary pickup and drop off within a 3-mile radius of the brewery. If you’re located outside of that, we may charge an additional fee.
Any cancellations or reschedule requests must be made in writing to avl@damngoodbeerbus.
- Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit due to operator cancellation due to weather or other unforseen circumstances. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours will not receive a refund or credit.
- Customers will receive a full refund or credit if cancelled within 48 hours of their booking if booked two weeks, or more, in advance. If cancelled between 2 weeks and 48 hours prior to the scheduled time, customers will receive a full credit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking will not receive a refund or credit.
